Five stars! Highly recommend Grounded Landscaping. Jonathan, the owner, has an excellent company and an excellent crew. He and his Manager, Jaron, are extremely knowledgeable as well as personable and very hard working. Every member of the crew is genuinely personable and polite. Collectively, they have the expertise and the heavy equipment to accomplish any landscaping or outdoor project to the very highest level of satisfaction at a great price. The crew removed about three cords of rotting firewood and wet leaves, cut down a tree and removed a giant agave and left the area completely clean. I have many projects for them to tackle and I have complete confidence in them to do an excellent job.
We hired Grounded Landscaping to design new xeriscaping for our front, back and side yards. When we recently bought our home, the yard was covered with tons of black mulch and small, brown boulders in a very busy pattern.
We met for consultations with several other landscaping companies before choosing Grounded Landscaping. They each gave quotes with lackluster ways to simply replace the black mulch with rocks.
Once we met with Jonathan from Grounded Landscaping, we knew we had the best company for our project. He said he was confident he could design something beautiful for us. We liked that he was willing to create an interesting design using different types of rocks, borders and plants. He said he could utilize the small boulders we already had in our yard, and then gave us great ideas on the different types of rocks we could use in the new design. He brought rock samples to our home and gave us a chance to make the best decision on the types of rocks we wanted. He also suggested the types of plants to add that wouldn't require drip irrigation or a sprinkler system.
His team was always on the work site on time, and they worked hard all day, every day of the project. Jonathan's brother was one of the crew, and he was exceptionally respectful and easy to communicate with. Jonathan, the project manager, was always available through calls and texting, as well. We never had a single issue with communication.
They had the necessary big equipment at the site to completely remove all of the old mulch and debris. The prep work was exceptional, and we know it will allow for easier weed control in the future.
We are so thankful that we chose Grounded Landscaping for our project. We continue to get compliments on our yard from all the neighbors, and we now love sitting on the porch and enjoying the view.
